We have a new brother for Toby and a New Uncle for Murphy! Everyone, meet Duke<\/b>. \ud83d\udc36<\/p>\n
Our humans brought him home a few days ago, and we\u2019ve been busy showing him how things work around here. He\u2019s had a bit of a rough time lately after losing his previous owner, and he\u2019s looking a little skinny, but don\u2019t worry\u2014we\u2019re sharing our snacks (well, some<\/i> of them) to help him get his strength back!<\/p>\nDuke\u2019s “New Life” To-Do List<\/h3>\n
Duke has a lot of big appointments coming up to make sure he\u2019s as healthy as we are. Our humans are getting all the paperwork ready so he can officially be our brother forever. Here is what’s next for him:<\/p>\n
The Doctor Visit:<\/b> He\u2019s getting a full check-up and bloodwork to make sure he’s 100% healthy.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n The “Ouchie” Appointment:<\/b> He has to get “fixed” soon. We told him it\u2019s not so bad, but he\u2019s still a little nervous! \ud83e\uddb4<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Work Days:<\/b> Duke already finished two days at work with Dad<\/b>! Toby went along to show him how to nap professionally under the desk.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Our family has set a goal of $2,000<\/b> to cover all of Duke\u2019s medical needs and any surprises along the way. Even though he\u2019s going to the vet no matter what, we want to make sure his fresh start is the best ever!<\/p>\n The Duke & Friends Promise:<\/b> If Duke\u2019s bills are less than what we raise, every extra penny goes to our friends at the Prince George Humane Society<\/b> in Duke\u2019s name.
